To put it simply, I aim to impress, and I don’t think you should settle for anything less.
Honestly? I started The Admin Alternative because I just couldn't take it anymore. I watched too many businesses struggle—staff working overtime because the workload was too much for one person but not enough for two, and entrepreneurs weighed down by backend duties they hated. But I knew there had to be a better way.
And so, The Admin Alternative was born.
The answer for businesses that don’t need a full-time hire but still need reliable support. Because I’ve seen how you show up when those administrative tasks aren’t holding you back, and I know what you can accomplish when you’re confident in how your business runs behind the scenes.
I should’ve known I was destined for this.
While I started my career as a makeup artist running my own business, it didn’t take long for me to realize my true passion wasn’t in the spotlight—it was behind the scenes, making everything run smoothly.
I’ve always had an eye for detail and, believe it or not, I actually enjoy repetitive tasks (a rare find, I know, but it works for me!).
My career journey has been a mix of diverse administrative roles that has made me the jack jill of all trade I am today. I’ve managed front desk operations at a physiotherapy clinic, worked on graphic design for print materials and social media content for artists, and handled order processing and invoicing at a machine shop.
Wanting to expand my skills, I decided to go back to school to become a legal assistant, which led to working alongside lawyers doing document production, client intake, and more.
But what truly defines my work isn't a specific set of skills—it’s my ability to get. things. done.
I hyperfocus on detail-oriented tasks, getting them done accurately and in record time. I pick up new skills quickly, and I take pride in my work—I’d rather go above and beyond in less time and earn referrals than drag things out just to bill more hours.

Nestled just outside of Toronto, I am fortunate to share my life with my incredible husband and our trio of furry felines. On most days, you can easily find me perched at our kitchen island, absorbed in a project, with a cup of coffee in hand.
In both my personal and professional life, I'm always striving to grow and improve. I set the bar high for myself and make a habit of fine-tuning my skills and knowledge. Whether it's digging into industry publications, keeping up with educators who inspire me, or exploring fresh ideas and solutions, I love to broaden my horizons and stay in the loop with the latest happenings.
